CROW-EEN 2K8 Contest Rules

These are simple guidelines that everyone must follow to ensure that this contest goes smoothly and is fair for everyone that participates. These rules are subject to change up until October 1st, so make sure to read through them before entering the Contest. Please read the scoring system page for detailed information on how you will be judged.

Only ONE entry per person is allowed into the contest. You must be at least 13 years of age to enter this contest.

A maximum of five (5) photos per costume entry will be accepted. Digital enhancements of Costume Pictures are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Any photos that are found to be altered by means of computer software will be disqualified immediately. Please read the text below very carefully.

• 1st photo must be a shot of you holding a sign saying Croween 2K8, this photo will not be judged nor will it be included in our online gallery. We just don't want you recyling photos from previous years.
• 2nd photo must be a close-up head shot so we can clearly see your makeup.
• 3rd photo must be a full head to toe image showing your entire costume.
• 4th and 5th photo can be staged shot, an action shot, an alternate angle to one of your other photos, or just something else we haven't though of. More importantly just be creative.
• Please don't use a cell phone to take pics as most pictures from cell phones are really grainy and dark. Use a disposable camera if you have to. We will accept snail mail entries. Be sure your shots are clear and focused. We don't expect shots from a professional photographer, even though you are more than welcome to hire one, we just want shots that are decent quality.

Should you have more than 5 images and would like to share those pictures with other crow fans, please contact us and we'll be glad to put them in our gallery after the contest is over.

There are NO restrictions on what type of Crow character you can dress as. Please, do not limit yourself to the Eric Draven version as depicted by Brandon Lee (although that version is always cool). In fact, extra points are available to those that create original Crow characters. What we are looking for is the costume that best captures the essence of what a Crow should be...and whether you dress up as any of the existing characters from film or comics, or invent your own version...all costumes will be judged on the mood/feelings they envoke. So, have fun and get creative!! There will be several judges using a predetermined point scoring system for all Crow costume pics received. The picture that scores the highest total points from the judges will become the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the contest.

Please fill out the required fields for the contact information. We will not sell or share your contact information with others and it will be deleted after the prizes have been mailed out. The only information that will be public is your first name or nickname and what state or country you are from for our gallery.

Entry deadline is Sunday, November 30th 2008 at 11:59 PM Pacific Standard Time. If you choose to snail mail your images, they must be received no later than Saturday, November 29. 2008.
